Had a GREAT houseparty saturday night! 40 people in our apartment wasn't a big deal, until security showed up and told us that we would be evicted from our apartment if we didn't throw everyone out. Sucked since everyone had a blast at that time but sadly enough the party had to end right there. We realized a lot of shit had been stolen from us as well, like Amandas bag (that was hidden in our closet) with her valuables. We went out that night anyway.

Well, day after Amanda was crying her eyes out since her stuff was lost and me and Sonja lost both cameras and her phone. Sue, Khines friend, came up with the idea to check the security cameras (we have security cameras all around in his building) and because of those cameras we caught those thiefs! Haha, felt like CSI Melbourne or something something so the whole thing kinda turned into something hilarious instead. It was like jackpot when we got the stuff back, found things we didn't even know was stolen!

We are having a houseparty! Khine (our roommate) is celebrating that she got her
first real job as a doctor in august and her friend's celebrating her pre birthday, two good reasons
among others to have a houseparty with other words! Looking forward to it since last housewarming in april
was such a success!

I've started to miss Sweden to much. Maybe because most of the swedes i've been hanging out with are going or went home already. It kinda kills me not being back in Sweden at this time of the year, but what the heck. The thing is that I've no idea what to do if im going back home anyway. My best friends are all over Europe doing other things, i dont wanna study and i don't have a job over there so except from family i dont have much to come back to. I believe that when summer's over or when I leave Melbourne to go to warmer places it will feel much better!

Im trying to figure out some future plans, like where Im going. I keep changing my mind but I think my new travel plans are pretty much set. I'll keep you guys updated!

If it's something I've learnt under this trip it is to never plan anything. You never know what happens. And my problem is - im planing to much. The thing is that I feel like I have too because I have this around-the-globe ticket which means I have to schedule everything.

Imagine this. When me and Maja left Sweden 7th of January our plans were to go to Thailand for 2,5 weeks, travel down the east coast from Cairns to Melbourne in 4 months, go to New Zealand beginning of may and stay there for a month. After that we were planing to go to California for one month and then be back in Sweden again 1th of July.

What happened instead?
We travelled together for around 8 weeks, travelled pretty much down and up the east coast in 6 weeks instead of 4 months. We split up, she went to a fruitfarm and I went down to Melbourne. She hooked up with Anton and did a roadtrip around Australia and I hooked up with Sonja. Got an apartment in Melbourne and now we have been here for almost 3 months. I extanded my trip til like next year, planing to go to New Zealand, California and Asia before that. Instead of 6 months of travelling for me, I decided to travel for 12 months. So. This pretty much shows that it's impossible to plan anything!

I believe that all of this happened because of the freaking cyclone in QLD in the beginning of feb. If it wasn't for that cyclone me and Maja never would have taken that flight down to Brisbane, which was at the exact same time Sonja and Anton arrived to QLD from New Zealand.  Scary how things just happen, isn't it?

Anywaaay, Sonja decided to go back to Sweden in july! Really hard decision for her, we love this place to much. I feel like I have to leave then too, which is within 6 weeks. This city wouldn't be the same without her!
We are trying to figure out wheter we can do a roadtrip through Australia before we split up, it would be TO sad to split up here in Melbourne.

Melbourne-life is soon over, but it's a beginning of a new era soooooon and it kinda feels good too!

And just like that I booked myself a planeticket to Sydney. I figured I wanted to go a couple of hours ago and here I am with a ticket in my hands..  

Im leaving on wednesday, the day after tomorrow. Amanda from Canada, a girl me and Sonja met on Flinders backpackers for 2 months ago, is gonna be there at the same time so im gonna go there and spend my time with our girl! We became good friends over here and next week she's moving to Melbourne! Wah, gonna have so much fun both in Sydney and over here. CAN'T WAIT.

Working yesterday, seeing all those familys celebrating mother's day, made me miss my family so much!
I would like to go home just to have a nice family dinner and hug them all, and then come back here again. But since I'm here I had to do something else.. why can't they have a nice family dinner without me? So what I did... I woke up 3.30 am to order home delivery pizza (mum's favourite) to my address in Linkoping and payed for it online. Haha I fell into sleep and hoped they would be at home, and you know what? They got it! hahaha.
